The project
The Musical Brain looks at the human musical experience. Through interviews with leading researchers (Daniel Levitin), and popular artists (Sting, Wyclef Jean), this science documentary explores how our brains are hard-wired to crave rhythms & melodies. For the show’s scientific animations, we developed a fiber-optic-like visualization of neural circuitry in order to depict complex brain activity for a general audience.
