The project
This scientific illustration aims to summarize the complex physiological pathways involved in emotional or impulsive reactions. We gave careful consideration to segmenting the brain to allow a view of the prefrontal cortical areas, while also revealing underlying and midline structures. A limited color palette and other touches were used to provide good adherence to the magazine’s design standards.
