The project
3D Medical animation about decreased contractility in heart failure (HFrEF) for disease awareness: to highlight the unmet need for treatments that increase contractility. We created novel scientific animations of sarcomere mechanics, showing the complex steps of the actin-myosin crossbridge cycle in detail. The molecular models and animation are data-driven. The sarcomere’s scale and speed were modified to provide a clearer view of function. This scientific animation is in use globally by 3 pharmaceutical companies for congresses, presentations and online medical education.
