PATH
Preservative, Transient Hyperfluorescence, or PATH, describes corneal
staining by the contact lens preservative PHMB that can appear during eye exams.
This animation dispels misinformation about the safety of PHMB by diving into the
nanoscopic world of the tear film to demonstrate the science behind PATH — a benign,
transient association between fluorocene dye and PHMB molecules.

FINR Atlas of Brain Injury & Anatomy
This 3D atlas helps clinicians explain brain anatomy and common brain injuries to patients
and families. On the iPad and iPhone, the 3D brain responds to finger swipes and pinch-zooms,
making it simple for users to begin exploring with minimal instruction. A companion Web version
makes this brain atlas available to anyone with an Internet connection.

inflammation normally triggers healing, chronic inflammation can lead to a host of diseases. At

the inflammosome. This animation explains the assembly of the inflammosome and its role in diseases such as gout.

In this film, we travel deep inside the intricate microarchitecture of living bone to
explore the synergies at work in maintaining healthy joints. The hormone calcitonin is
